Kid’s Catechism (“KidCat”)
There is an old saying that “God has no grandchildren – only children”. In order for our children to know and love Jesus we must introduce Him to them through both participation in worship and study of Biblical history and tenets of the Christian faith. At the 9:30 a.m. service the children (grades K-4) start in KidCat, then join the service for Holy Communion.
During KidCat they are instructed in the “grammar of the Bible”:
- The Creation and God’s covenant with Abraham
- The Exodus
- The 10 Commandments
- The Judges and Kings of Israel
- The life and teachings of Jesus
- The Apostles and the early church
As part of our unified approach to children and youth ministry, KidCat is using Gospel Project curriculum.
