What is Community Resource Services?

Community Resource Services (CRS) is a responsive, community-based organization whose mission is to diminish the effects of poverty in Avon and Avon Lake. CRS provides basic needs assistance and individualized resource and referral services in a compassionate and confidential manner.

Assistance is given through their on-site food pantry and through emergency financial assistance for rent, utilities, car repairs, prescription/medical expenses, school supplies, or other basic needs. CRS is often the first call for help for our neighbors who are struggling financially.
